EUROPEANA DATA EXCHANGE AGREEMENT
Data Providers and Aggregators deliver to Europeana only metadata, a thumbnail and a link pointing to a digital object at the provider’s website. The terms regarding data delivery and re-use are governed by Europeana’s Data Exchange Agreement.
EDM – Image
Europeana v1.0 in cooperation with EuropeanaConnect and experts from academic and cultural circles published the Europeana data Model (EDM), a new way of structuring resources’ metadata. By formatting Europeana digital resources according to the EDM, new ways of exploring Europeana’s portal will open up to users, including the use of linked data, enabling connections between related digital resources.
